Parents and caregivers of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder are invited to learn important information on safety in the home for their child on the spectrum. This training will provide parents with information on how to identify potential hazards in the home. It will provide training on how to develop a household safety plan. The session will also cover information on wandering patterns and possible triggers for wandering. The session will also cover strategies on how to secure the dwelling to prevent elopement.
